Pesticide Bottles (plastic)
Empty pesticide bottles can be recycled using your local council's kerbside recycling bin, bag or box and at your local Household Waste Recycling Centre.
Almost all plastic bottles are recyclable as long as they are not black plastic. When recycling leave the labels on, empty and rinse them, keep tops on, don't squish the bottles and check the bottles for instructions if they contained chemicals. The recycling process is not currently designed to recycle all plastic items such as tubs, trays and black plastic. Most bottles are ok to recycle however most other plastics cannot currently be recycled. If the plastic container contains chemicals please read the instructions as these chemicals could be hazardous to staff and equipment.
