RECYCLING (BROWN BIN):
CARD: Keep it clean and dry.
- Boxes (e.g. cereal boxes, delivery boxes, dishwasher tablet boxes)
- Corrugated cardboard
- Egg cartons
- Envelopes
- Plain greeting cards
- Takeaway boxes
CARTONS: Remove any food/drink, give them a quick rinse and pop them in your recycling.
- Juice cartons
- Milk cartons
- Plant-based drinks cartons e.g. oat, almond, soya milks
- Soup or sauce cartons
GLASS: Remove any food/drink, give them a quick rinse and pop them in your recycling.
- Drink bottles of any colour (e.g. wine, beer, spirits)
- Jars (e.g. sauces, baby food, spreads)
- Non-food bottles (e.g. perfume bottles, aftershave bottles)
METALS: Remove any food/drink, give them a quick rinse and pop them in your recycling.
- Aerosol cans (e.g. deodorant, hairspray, shaving foam)
- Aluminium foil
- Aluminium tubes
- Biscuit/Chocolate/Sweet tins
- Drink cans

PAPER: Keep them clean and dry.

*Perform the scrunch test! Scrunch gift wrap or wrapping paper into a ball in your hand, if it stays in a ball, you can pop it in your recycling bin, just remove any stickers or tape before!
PLASTICS: Remove any food/drink, give them a quick rinse, put the lids back on and pop them in your recycling.

- Untreated bark and wood chippings
- Pet bedding (e.g. straw, shredded paper etc. clean or soiled)
HOUSEHOLD WASTE (GREY BIN):
- General household waste
- Most items which cannot be recycled or put in your blue bin, should be put in your grey bin.
- If you need to dispose of food waste please use your grey bin until food waste collections roll out.
- Building materials or rubble are not accepted in the grey bin.
