- 49% of households are disposing of one or more items in their general waste bin that could be collected for recycling in their area.
We need more residents to ‘Do it Right’ and understand the materials that can and cannot be collected at the kerbside for recycling from their households across the Region. We want to:
- Increase consistency in household recycling across Merseyside and Halton
- Reduce confusion on what can and can’t be recycled for householders
- Improve the quality of the recycling that’s being collected
- Save money and resources
