Food cartons (Tetra Paks)
Food cartons (Tetra Paks) are not accepted in your local council’s kerbside recycling bin, box or bag. Food cartons (Tetra Paks) can be disposed of at your local Household Waste Recycling Centre or in your local council’s kerbside residual bin.
CARTON FACTS:
- Cartons (like juice and soup cartons) are generally made from a mixture of paperboard, plastic and aluminium.
- Currently the recycling process is not designed to, and is not able to sort these materials, however most cartons are accepted at your local Household Waste Recycling Centre.
