Milk cartons (Tetra Pak) are not accepted in your local council’s kerbside recycling bin, box or bag.

Milk cartons (Tetra Pak) can be disposed of at your local Household Waste Recycling Centre or in your local council’s kerbside residual bin.

CARTON FACTS:

  • Cartons (like juice and soup cartons) are generally made from a mixture of paperboard, plastic and aluminium.
  • Currently the recycling process is not designed to, and is not able to sort these materials, however most cartons are accepted at your local Household Waste Recycling Centre.
