Wooden garden furniture is not accepted in your local council’s kerbside recycling or residual bin, bag or box.

Wooden furniture can be disposed of at your local Household Waste Recycling Centre.

GARDEN WASTE FACTS:

  • Garden waste, such as grass cuttings, weeds, prunings and leaves, can be recycled at all of Merseyside's and Halton's Household Waste Recycling Centres.
  • Most councils run a kerbside collection scheme for green and garden waste - some charge for the service so please check directly in your area.
  • Don't include bricks, rubble or excess soil in your green and garden waste bin.
