Gas masks
Old and antique gas masks can contain asbestos and so need to be disposed of safely, and they are not accepted in your local council’s kerbside recycling bin, bag or box or residual bin. You can dispose of old and antique gas masks by contacting Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority an appointment to arrange to dispose of it at one of three local Household Waste Recycling Centres that accept asbestos.
